    Hello,

It's for tracking Let me explain it:
You can use the ID to test products, keywords (TID can be extremly useful if you are using PPC and direct linking and .htaccess redirect=>don't need to ask the vendor to place your tracking code), follow up series (id=1messages etc.), places on sales page etc.

    So use it

    All the best,
    Adam

I`m so used to videos that I need videos to understand.
besides an image is worth 1000 words.

The main purpose behind clickbank tracking id is to test your results. For example, if you are already tracking which keywords are working, the source of your traffic, and then analyze them with a software like Microsoft Excel, then you can figure out which method is suitable to sell that product.

let's say you are using multiple methods of promoting a product.

    1) review page. you use 'tid=r1' at the end of your link
    2) that page has a video on it. you set the video up to autoforward to your afifliate link at the end of being viewed => 'tid=vid1'
    3) you have an autoresponder, and you promote the product in numerous emails. 'tid=ar1', 'tid=ar2', 'tid=ar3'

now you can look at your cb analytics and see where your sales are coming from by looking at the tid's.

    HI
The ClickBank Tracking ID is an excellent tool, it allows you to track which affiliate campaigns of your's are working and which ones are not.
You'd log into your ClickBank account, click on the Reporting tab, then on "Analytics", and under the "Affiliate Reporting, choose "Tracking Codes" and the time-frame you wish to view, then click "Go". That's it.

When you got a sale, the specific ID that you've used to distinguish the link will be right there in your statistics. So you'll know which campaign, which traffic methods, which website that lead to the sale.

You just use the tracking ID to know which promotion a sale came from. It allows you to test different promotions and you can easily get rid of the ones that don't convert. If it's this difficult for you to understand tracking IDs, maybe you're in the wrong profession. How old are you?
