Question about cache:domain.com command

I've uploaded a new website a week ago.
If I google site:mydomain.com I see the indexed pages, however if I do
cache:mydomain.com It looks like Google hasn't crawled my site.
How is that make sense?

Thanks

cache means it has strored a copy of your website.
index means it has indexed your website
    cache is accessible from http://webcache.googleusercontent.com

try to search your website in google, if it shows you >> next to your site, you will see the cached copy of your website, available to users if your site goes down.

I thought cache: shows the last time Google crawled the website.
So if I want to know if my site was crawled and when?

    Here's the problem:

    1. when I insert my URL to Google.com I see 88 results, but only 2 of them are my website
    2. I see the preview arrow next to my URL, but there is no date next to it.
    3. When I insert "cache:mydomain.com" I get the Google's 404 page
    4. When I insert "site:mydomain.com" I see there are 23 indexed pages.
    5. There are no errors on WMT
    6. This is a new website with unique content, so there is NO DUPLICATES on the net

    Any ideas? I'm confused.
