How do I activate dead affiliates?

Folks,

Over 9,700 affiliates with PDC, all emails went through yesterday morning to their PDC accounts however, no traffic or activity. They are like ghosts. Granite some are a YEAR OLD BUT not all are very old at all. How does that factor? How do I resurrect the dead?

How do I activate dead affiliates?
I know a shaman who does this kind of rain dance thingy that raises
    affiliates from the dead.

I'm not sure how effective they'd be as marketers though. I would think that
their skills have become rusty with all that decomposition going on in their
    brains.

But you could give it a try.

      I would recommend:

      1) You Give them something(s) worthwhile for FREE, and clearly state the FREE and Valuable giveaway in your email subject

      2) Then consistently email them, and repeat #1 in each email (at least for a while) until you start to see some of them "resurrected"

I hope that helps and Have a Great Saturday!

Have you tried the Mr Bean trick?

You need a set of jumper cables and the power supply to a traffic light.

Of course, I wouldn't expect much from those one year old affiliates. At that age, I had a hard time pulling on my shoes let alone promoting products.

I tried my own affiliate program once, it is still going not very successful though. The lesson i learned from this is.....

"You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink"

Most Affiliates just do nothing they have the mentality that YOU will do it all for them. No matter what you materials you supply web/sales pages, pop ups, banners, mailing list mangers and online training.

They still believe you will generate their income, with that said you will get those super affiliates who know just what it is all about. They are the ones who will make you the money.

Try offering incentives to get them going, some thing like a free bonus worth $**** if they make 2 sales. Once they see the money coming to them hopefully this will light that fire beneath them to get them motivated...

        Yes! ...

Incentives! e.g. Contests with Valuable Prizes Your Affiliates will Really Want! may also help.

You might also try "surveying" them and offer some Valuable FREE Gift for responding might help "activate them", you know? ...

        Bottom line ...

Keep trying different things and figure out what works Best with Your Affiliates, you know?

I hope this helps and Have a Great Day!

Add another tack onto the incentive vote.

Incentives really can increase an affiliates performance. Also, are you providing enough material?

I signed up to PDC at one point and never did anything with anybody
there at all. Not sure why really, seems to be a combination of things.

Complaints on the board here that they weren't getting paid by vendors there.

Complaints on the board here about getting hammered with sales pitches by the PDC people promoting their own products.

Seems semi complicated to use, I just logged in for the first time in ages and was presented with a video presentation for products as well as a Bonus of ?? allowing me to promote all affiliates in the marketplace or something.

None of that would probably matter if there weren't another marketplace that was already loaded with products and works just fine.

Oops, just clicked the "No Thanks" button which then showed the hidden button to continue and now I'm on a 2nd chance offer page and I still haven't reached the area to promote your product yet and I'm not going to continue clicking through just to try and find a product to promote.

Maybe I'm in the wrong place???
