Anyone have experience publishing music or content on iTunes?
Hey guys,
My area of expertise is information marketing, as many may know. I would never even dream of taking a client who wants to publish music they produced because that's FAR from my area of expertise.
But alas, my Father, who is an independent music artist and instrument maker in Berkely, Calif. is a complete computer novice... albiet a phenominal musician.
Anyway, he called me tonight because he needs me to create CD artwork for him for a CD he plans to sell, mostly with his instruments.
Got me thinking.... lets also get his content on iTunes and Amazon for sale. Or, at least make it available via those two platforms for him to give away as a tool to promote his beautiful hand made instruments because that's REALLY his goal I think.
As for background.... he isn't in it for the money as much as he's in it for the love of his music and his desire to share that.
His request for me to help him design and replicate the CD is a walk in the park for me... but I feel that we should also use Amazon and iTunes as distribution mediums for his music.
My experience goes as far as information marketing - ebooks, courses and newsletters such as those in my signature.
Nothing like this.
I'm hoping some of my fellow Warriors have experience in this type of thing and can shed some light here. A Google search turned up tired threads from 2008.
