e-zine "published" before site?

Hello:

I have a new site which I try and support with articles. When I write an article for E-zine, they want unpublished writing. So if I write an article for E-zine and want to put it on my site, do it wait till they accept and publish before I put it on my site?

And secondly, Is this a good way to satisfy Google for new content on my site?

thanks

Jim

I think this thread will help you

The overwhelming majority will post it on their site first, get the initial index and then syndicate it.

    Hi Jim,

This is actually incorrect - they neither want nor expect previously unpublished content.

There's a lot of confusion about, between the words "unique" and "original", and even more between the words "duplicate" and "syndicated" content. :p

They want writing that they haven't previously published, not writing that you haven't previously published. They explain at some length on their blog, that when they say "unique" they mean only "unique to us" not "unique to you". (It's unfortunate that they use that word at all!).

In their email article course for beginners, they specifically invite authors to submit to them, as articles, posts previously published on the authors' own blogs.

They do this on their blog, as well.

They also provide a special WordPress plug-in to enable people to publish first on their own blog and at the same time submit the post/article for EZA approval and subsequent publication.

Every article I've ever published in EZA (and that's quite a lot of articles!) has previously been published and indexed on my own blog (and most of them in many other places, too).

No. Always publish your articles on your own site first and wait for Google to index them before they're submitted anywhere else.

It makes no sense to submit unique (previously unpublished) content to an article directory. It helps them much more than it helps you (it can even damage you, under some circumstances).

When you have time to read a long thread, in this one you'll find a whole succession of experienced article marketers explaining all their shared reasons for always publishing their articles on their own sites first, before submitting them unchanged to Ezine Articles: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html

And if you're really in a hurry and have time only for a 3-minute read, this thread from earlier today might help a little : http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7892986
