Affiliate Marketers: Quick Guest Posting Question

So, 1 more question from me.

Pseudonyms.

Do you create an indepth pseudonym for each niche you're in, so you could have Brian Albatross blogging about weight loss secrets and Diane Rose blogging about forex?

When it comes to creating these pseudonyms, how in-depth do you go? How essential is it to build your guest posting around an imaginary person or do you do it another way?

Cheers

Yes - exactly this. (Not sure what you mean by "in depth", though?).

Mine are just a name, a matching email address (my pen-name @ mydomain.com), sometimes a very brief description (not always, and it will be a factually true one about myself), usually a photo/picture (it will be a photo of my own which has been re-worked into a cartoon/drawing/silhouette/whatever, usually by someone from Fiverr). That's all. And I'll use that throughout the niche (on my own site, on my articles, for correspondence with article syndicators, on my autoresponder series, as a pen-name at Ezine Articles, and so on).

    Cheers.

What I meant by indepth was inventing a whole new person, not just an email addy. So Brian has his own personality and traits that are different from mine.

I am also going to go down the cartoon route.

Sure, that's a good idea. Flesh out your character a bit

This is a great tool that generates a great fake profile with a lot of detail.

It is a great place to start, then you can change and flesh it out as you like.

It is great because you don't have to "think up" a name.

Ah, but that's my favourite part

I'm originally a fiction writer and coming up with names and characters is something I definitely enjoy.

I just wanted to find out how in depth others are going with their pseudonyms.

I did say before that I would post a kind of "diary" about my progress in Affiliate marketing...well I haven't started yet due to a high workload in my content writing and a lot of other things to sort out in the "real world"! But it will be coming soon. Probably starting at the end of the week, when I will hopefully have a good amount of content written and hosting.
