Promoting ClickBank Products In Spanish ?

Hey fellow warriors,

Is anybody having success promoting ClickBank products in Spanish, such as the weight loss offers, or anything else ?

Or maybe even promoting things non-ClickBank to Spanish speakers ?

Would love to hear from anybody with experience with this demographic.

Thanks

It does work, but conversion rates are maybe 1/20 compared to US traffic. It has to do with so many companies declining credit/debit cards for online transactions.

Additionally Spanish people are not used to spending online, so they don't really trust online merchants.

Yeah, I agree about the mis-trust. I think that is the biggest hurdle in this demographic.

My S.O. and her family are all very hesitant to buy anything online.

Ironically, the only thing they do trust buying online are physical products from Hong Kong and China (since they saw me order and receive merchandise that way).

We just got a shipment of make-up and electronics today from Hong Kong as a matter of fact and my S.O., her sister and 2 nieces are asking me to order more stuff

I have tried to sell Clickbank or other eBooks to Spanish speaking customers and it is like pulling teeth to make any sales...

Not too sure but I know marketers who are making really good money with CPA marketing in the spanish niche.. im sure there is a pretty decent market for CB products but ya like you said Im sure that credit card companies declining transactions will probably be one of the biggest obstacles.

I am curious if you see the same reticence in the Chinese culture. My Fiance is Cantonese and while she has a 3rd grade vocabulary, her sister in law is fully fluent so have thought of converting my courses to Cantonese...

There is a burgeoning Hispanic population in the U.S. which is increasingly becoming internet savvy, and apparently also commensurately underserved. About half of my sales and writing staff is bilingual, and 23% of the sales come directly as a result of engaging business owners and purchasing agents in Spanish even though many of these prospects also do speak English. The demand for many products is extremely underserved for this market and we have experienced comparatively little competition. By ignoring this demographic or not adapting to their needs, you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

Targeting this demographic with promotions in their own language has a powerful leverage, with much higher conversions such as in Clickbank and Amazon products. A format that has worked astoundingly well for me over the years in not only Spanish-speaking markets but also for other groups such as in technical/professional niches is to demonstrate an affinity for the targeted demographic. It is not enough to communicate in their "language"; there are nuances of expression and culture required to establish some commonality and credibility before a sale can be made.

What I do is write articles in publications specifically targeting the readership audience for selected affiliate products. These articles series simultaneously demonstrate niche expertise, language/cultural affinity, credibility, etc. They generate leads which are funneled through an integrated, multi-channel sales process which includes email, telephone, direct mail, and even direct sales. It comes downs to adapting your marketing and sales process to the manner in which they would most prefer to be approached and make a purchase.

But the US hispanic population already speak English (at least most of those who will buy online), so I'm not sure you want/need to market to them in Spanish.

Could you point us to some of them? Thanks!

I'm specifically looking for Spanish language "make money" offers. If anyone knows of any, please PM me.

myob, the problem with that approach is that reaching Spanish-speaking people from the US is much, much more expensive than reaching Spanish speakers from other countries. I used to get 1cent clicks from Facebook in several Latin American countries, while the cost of reaching US hispanics is maybe twenty or thirty times higher.

Nearly all of my leads targeting US Hispanics are generated through online/offline Spanish language publications. A high percentage of this market actually do prefer Spanish as their primary language or may even have a language barrier. And as I mentioned, learning the "language" of any demographic, even in "English-speaking" technical/professional niches, can substantially increase conversion rates. Using this marketing method (article syndication), the cost per aquisition is insignificant. You are leaving a lot of money on the table by not adapting marketing practices to the needs/expectations of your targeted demographic.

The native Spanish speaking population who live in US and Europe are the best target audience for this.

Spanish people from South America (I can say it, I am from Argentina), have a hard time to pay for intangible assets. You need to target a special demographic there, people in the higher brackets who value their time.

The other element to sort out is that most of Clickbank products are originally written in English and then rubbishy translated. You only need to see the sales letters, many are just ludicrous.

As many claim that you don´t have a really good product in English unless a native English speaker writes it, same rule goes both ways.

I don´t buy into that law, warts and all I have been writing for a long time and getting jobs when I was working regularly for third parties. But at least it is needed to use a native proofreader.

Same as anything else... no steal here, needs some hard work.
