How to create a landing page?

It sounds like you are wanting to do things for free, but at some point you will need to put some money into your business.

For example, you should be using at least aweber to capture some subscribers.

You can create a squeeze page using wordpress.org, but you should really buy your own domain name and hosting if you're really wanting to learn about Internet Marketing.

I taught myself using Youtube videos. It IS possible.

Using wordpress you can create a squeeze page for free.

1. Create a captivating headline. I would recommend creating a headline in a free graphics creator called gimp. Again it's free. That way you can change the color and shape of the headline. Insert the headline into a page.

2. Below the headline under the 'text' editor place the code for your opt-in form from Aweber into the page. Make sure you center it using <center> in the text side. This will center your form.

That's the simplest and cheapest way to build a squeeze page.

My advice is once you get going is to own your own domain name and hosting and get Optimizepress. It's SO simple to create squeeze pages, sales pages, and more. It's a one time fee and a great investment.

You have to invest money to make money.

I make my squeeze pages with Optimze Press. It's not cheap, but it really gets the job done. You can make squeeze pages in minutes.

Just find a free template online there are tons, then use any HTML editor to build off of it.

You will need to invest money. You cant start a real business for free. You need the basics your own website, themes, plug-ing create free gift funnel, backend autoresponder, gather leads and reinvest rinse and repeat. You wont find anyway around it. Dont try to re invent the wheel do what works!

You can alway outsource it at fiverr or odesk to get someone to create for you.

If you have photoshop knowledge, you can always use photoshop with a html editor tool.

yeah you can use the below one to create squeeze pages in 90 secs. Its actually very simple to use, but ofcoarse is also a simple tool! it does the job though...

The best landing pages are simple ones that aren't filled with a bunch of material. Keep everything above the fold including the button to submit the form. Just tell what they're going to get briefly, provide the form and there you go.

Also remember that you need a good domain name and a good hosting account. I personally use hostgator.com.

Landing pages do not have to be complex, or filled with a boatload of graphics to convert. Simplicity does the trick quite well and is preferred by most people believe it or not.

Check out profitstheme. It's a wordpress plugin that allows you to create squeeze pages in minutes. I personally use it and find it really amazing. It's not free though

As others in this thread have already said at some point you will need to invest money into your "business". It does usually take money to make money and being too cheap to invest in a proper autoresponder or purchase your own domain name or hosting doesn't bold too well for your internet marketing future.

I've never done CPA in my life and I'm planning on testing it out. Is optimize press still "solid"?

WordPress is your best bet for this. You'll have to buy hosting and maybe a premium theme but the costs are very low. Just bite the bullet and do it, the sooner you have the site up and running, the sooner you can start driving traffic.
