hi, what do I need to know about resale rights?

Hi,

I am thinking of putting together a few reports/e-books, and was wondering what I need to know about offering them with resale rights. Specifically:

a) What tape of license agreement and do I need, i.e., the disclaimer at the front of the e-book
b) what do I need to specify if I'm going to sell it to someone else, i.e., you don't own the copyright, but you have the rights to resell it or distribute it?
c) And anything else I might be missing

If there is someone experienced in this area, who is already done this, I would appreciate any comments you could give me.

    Just make a .txt document named RIGHTS and put it in your product folder.

    And make a template so you can save yourself some trouble in the future in case you ever have to make a new resell rights agreement.

    What is the difference between 'master' resale rights, and 'regular' resale rights? (And pros/cons?)

    Probably having to do with if you sell something to someone and they want to go off on their own and sell it. I think that happens with alot of e-books online. People pay $40 for one, change it a bit and sell it to alot of people. I'd be mad if that happened to me, now I'm going to have to look up how you protect yourself from that!
