How do I embed a video into a forum post?

have tried everything I can think of, but can't seem to get a video to show in my post, just the link, appreciate any ideas

Just paste in the YouTube URL and make sure the checkbox "Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on)." is checked.

That should work.

It depends. If you are talking about the WSO forum then your link will stay as a link UNTIL your WSO has been paid for and approved. Once the listing is approved the link will turn into an embedded video.

I did a search looking for an answer to this question. Then I made a post asking the same thing. Then wouldn't you know it - I find this.

None of those things work. I think the administration as turned the embedding of videos off.

Found the answer. You have to remove the s from https://
