How much info do you give to a mentor?

I would appreciate what others do when working with a mentor in IM.

If for example you already have a relatively successful business but would like to take help in order to grow and expand, how much info would you really give to a mentor

Just curious to know how people go about this before I go about getting one. thanks in advance

How trusted is the mentor? Is he/she really who they say they are?

I mean when you say "how much info?" I am guessing you are referring to things you would usually keep to yourself. My advice would be, make sure you can trust them. If you met them on here, see if you can find anything about them. Maybe people warning others about them.

    Just be careful

I chose entrepreneurship over further education despite being laughed at by my friends and family..

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)

I would be very careful on this matter. Expect to get a ton of PM's from so-called mentors who are only after your money and screw you over. It happened to me once. Don't rush into getting a mentor right away. Do your research very carefully before making a rash decision on whom you think you can trust.

What's the point of having a sig if no one buys from you?

You definitely want to be careful about the person you are sharing your information with. That being said, you'll know it's the right mentor when you don't really worry about giving them all this information because you know they are far too successful to be worried about copying or stealing your ideas.

No one will mentor anyone for free if he/ she success an online business (internet marketing), the people usually charge cost for the mentoring. Except his/ her own sibling. And.... MLM.

If you join an online MLM business, your upline will mentor and support until you success as long as you are in on fire. If you success then your upline will success also. The thing only you need to occur is buying tools for marketing on the internet. e.g: buying domain name, rent a web hosting, autoresponder and more.

if your instinct says it is not right then go with it, and be careful not to give out too much.

I will find a really experienced coach so I don't need to be afraid to open my card to him. A good idea from an expert user will definitely a real help to make our business bigger. If we hide some information to the coach, I am sure he can't be much of a help and they will you you general and unhelpful advice.
