Wordpress and Excel

I've just started a new site and I'm adding the content manually.

The content is along the lines of:
Client name
Client contact
Business description
(possible photo or logo)

Is it possible to store this content in Excel and then import it into Wordpress? I've searched for plug-ins but don't really know what to look for.

I'd be really grateful for any help.

    Thanks for that masterGlen, but none of the answers there seem to do quite what I want. I'm looking for something a bit like the Business Directory plugin (see it in action here), but which allows me to choose the order of the contents and import from an Excel or Access file.

    I guess doing it manually is going to be easiest for now.

    Edit: That was daft - I would choose the order in Excel or Access

    save your excel file as a .csv file

    then use a csv to wordpress import plugin like this

      thanks digital - I've downloaded that - I might just be being thick, but I can't see that it does what I want. Each entry becomes a post. That's not what I want.

      I want something that will do this - but without me having to add each entry to the page manually.

      Not to worry - manual will be fine for now and thanks for the replies.

        My suggestion is to contact an author of one of the article import plugins and see if they could adapt it to your needs.

        I use a very good plugin, "Article Import" by a company called, Webous. They do custom work and possibly could create a plugin for your needs. Here is the website:
