How to Make Money by Just Writing Articles

As the recession bites, one of the unbelievable way to make money online is through article writing.

But before you get excited, let me tell you one thing that there are no magical formula to achieve this. What anyone needs to make money online just as in the brick and mortal world is focus and right mindset.

The difference between your goal (success) and dream is the process that is involved. Let us look at the following steps for you to achieve this:

1. Pick a Hungry Niche: Your good success to article marketing is to choose a red hot niche. Example include weight loss, dating, sex and relationship, money etc

2. Look at Competition as a friend: Competition makes marketing complete both offline and online. This is healthy as it shows that if others are making money, then you too can.

3. Get Clickbank Affiliate Program: Like it or not, clickbank is one of the most popular affiliate where digital products are sold and you can promote them. If you have a niche you want to promote that you are passionate or interested in, go to clickbank, check the one with higher gravity and promote it.

4. Create a review site: Once you have chosen a niche market as well as the above, you can easily create a review site reviewing the top products in your market.
In going about this, you will need to take a look at the review site of your competition. Capitalize on their hard work to replicate what they are doing. Add something more creative as this will give you a good edge over them.

5. Start Writing Articles: First step here is to look at what kind of problems people in your related niche are facing. You can crack this by going to forum and understanding frequently asked questions. Then start writing articles centered on your niche and submitting them in your review site, ezine article sites, forums etc and generating traffic to your affiliate product...

6. You are a success: There is nothing you cannot achieve. So start writing and adding spices, be meticulous and diligent. Above all, persevere, keep doing it and in just a matter of time, you will start earning a steady income online.

Hi TheRealDomainer, I would like to thank you for putting your spin on "article writing", especially the use of Clickbank and niche Review sites. I have Article Submitter software, but have been thinking lately with Google looking for unique content gone are the days of submitting the same article to numerous sites. Is this the case? Your thoughts? Aaron Riddell

      Thanks Aaron,

You can write several unique content articles and submit them differently:
      1. Articles for only ezinearticles: This article will be syndicated by other article directories and that means traffic to your site

      2. Articles for other article directory, not submitted to ezinearticles.com

      3. Unique for your review blog/site

All linked to your affiliate product

I agree. Just released a guide that talks about that (its free, check the sig). That's how I got my start and how I funded my business ventures, including software, hardware, and scripts.

Why not just use a top-level-domain redirect.
I once heard that "fewer clicks = more sales".

Unless you are really good at presell offcourse

You are more exposed to your using your review site compared to a single domain redirecct.

Note that your review site will give room for you to review several affiliate products that are complimentary here and you have enough room to express yourself on this platform.

Also, be mindful that not all unique content will be approved by ezine article directories and you can have them on your site.

      Good Luck

Yes, you do need unique articles if you are wanting to avoid the supplemental index. If you write a killer article, why not just rewrite that same article completely.

Love the idea with having a review site... but don't get stuck into the crap most people do with a short review that doesn't say anything except that the content is good and puts a star rating on the product.. what is that!!

A great way to sell more books with reviews is to do a video of you talking about them.. good and bad... talk about how the book helped you.. and for extra credit.. review really really bad products.

This will actually be fun and you'll gain the trust of your readers by showing them you're not just out to make a buck but are very critical of the products out there.. be a tough marker.. (probably be entertaining to hear someone talk about a rubbish product too).. for once I'd like to see someone review a product just to let people know that they DON'T recommend it.. if there's one thing that people are starving for out there it's real.. human.. down to earth.. reviews that tell it like it actually is.

    be honest. be rewarded.

Thought I'd point you to a recent interview I did with Mark Thompson of WP Goldmine...the core of his idea (which he gives away on the call) is article writing and marketing. And he only uses ezinearticles...so you don't have to futz around with spinning and submitting to dozens/hundreds of directories.

If you've written a keyword-rich, quality article for a hungry market, it will get plenty of exposure within ezinearticles...and will be picked up for syndication.

Mark's made as much as $20k off a single article.

Anyway, may be worth the listen.

      All best,
      Bill

Travis Sago outlines an article marketing strategy known as bum marketing ... it's free!
You can go to his site and learn all about it.

Jeremy Kelsall + zerofill (Don, I think it is) -- put out a great (and inexpensive!) bootcamp on Article Marketing ... I think they may still be running a wso for it.

I know some folks that have done well following their strategy.

They don't pull any punches -- they are the real deal.

They have some other bootcamps, too, but I only know about the article marketer's one.

    Cheers!

One thing to keep in mind about the level of competition, if you are posting to EZA(which you should be) some categories are overwhelmed with competitors and your article won't stay on the first page very long simply because of the number of submissions. Of course it is niche dependent.

This alone will drop your number of views and put a damper on your efforts no matter how great your article may be.

That being said, competition is a good thing as it points to a healthy niche but in this case it can also hurt your chances of making that sale.
