What are the niches do you want to promote this year 2013?

I don't know if you are going to get a direct answer to your question. It is tough for people to tell you which niches they are promoting.

But if you are going to be creating niche websites then you have to create them for popular topics.

Naturally, health and weight loss would still be a great idea, going green, cooking niches and dating niche are still popular, I think dating beats all of them.

You can probably get a good idea on Clickbank for hot topics; also you will need to check some trending sites.

Yes I agree with ejullya, go for popular evergreen topics like the ones she mentioned.

But there are also untapped niches that can be very profitable, make a deep research on each topic and you may find subtopics that have low competition and are profitable.
