Is video spinning software still viable?

Someone gave me a video spinning software. I have not used it yet as I know how youtube can be... I did think about creating a youtube account just for spun videos or creating spun videos and uploading them to other video sites.

In the video of the software he shows a slideshow video with link in the middle where he creates 10 videos and uploads them.

I am wanting to hear from you guys...

Have you ever used Video Spinning Software?
What were your results?
Do you make slideshow videos for promotion?
Do they work for you?

    From what I have learned.. all these short term tricks to build content fail to deliver long term results.

    You need a good video to attract visitors. Spun videos are boring and most of the software that does it is not worth a penny imo.
