Independent program that track visitors?

Is there a free or paid program that I can use to track website visitors?
What I would like is a program the displays website visitors from different sites that you enter,
I want to track unique visitors from articles, blogs, etc.

Anyone know any program that can do this?

I think you'll find that Google Analytics should do exactly that for you:

Google Analytics

It's free and pretty good!

but it does not work for free sites like squidoo, ezine etc, I can´t modify them and insert my tracking codes...

Hey Karl,

There are several programs that can do that.

Tracking202 (service) and Prosper202 (self-hosted) are both free and can track most any link.

You can check out AdTrackz.com as well... It's a paid product, not all that expensive though, I think about $77.

I haven't tried it out, but it looks pretty interesting.

Go to Live traffic analysis by Web-Stat and sign up for a 30 day free trial. You'll be happy. I'm an affiliate but forum rules bar listing affiliate link so the site listed is the straight company site but I love the service.
