Is Different Class Hosting Worth It?

In looking into different class hosting, whether different A, B, or C class hosting, I'm wondering if it is actually worth it.

While the underlying IP addresses for my websites may all be different, the underlying domain names will all still show the same registration info. And since Google or whomever else has access to this, doesn't that make the effort and expense of getting different class hosting meaningless?

Or, am I missing something?

I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks.

Just use multiple shared hosting accounts. Buy from random hosts and your sites will end up on diverse IPs.

SEOhost.com is cheap and offers 5 shared unique Class C hosting for like $10...also, why not register your domain private?

Thanks for the reply... and I probably wasn't clear in my question, but is even getting different shared accounts worth it if Google and other SE's can recognize the same registration information, thereby making all the different diverse IP addresses meaningless?

You have to use private domain registration and preferably different name servers. Also keep any 'footprint' to an absolute minimum. With small networks, Google is not going to devote a lot of resources to catching you.

I was thinking about private registration, but can that have any bearing against ranking, or doesn't Google have the ability to bypass private registration anyway? Maybe I'm wrong about that.

to my knowledge, private is private. Just because its Google it doesnt make them anymore special than you or I when trying to see who the domain is registered to

I recommend a VPS instead of shared hosting, as they tend to be more reliable and give you an unique IP.

It's definitely a good idea to keep several of your sites separated in order to avoid Google penalties and to prevent downtime across all your sites.

You should give namecheap a try as they give you private registration for free. That way you don't have to worry about Google (or anybody else) knowing your identity. There's some talk that Google can still know who's behind a website, but I doubt it.

From my seo blog experience, i think its not a MUST to have c class ip hosting, but it is an added bonus and can help with seo rank. and if you can do anything to get better ranks, then its worth it. Some c class ip hosting companies offer good prices to make it worth the extra hosting cost, one that i use is cclassiphosting.com
