What's your skillset? What do you think you absolutely suck at? What do you think you might be good at learning?

It is going to be experimental in the beginning because you wont know what you like until you do it. Kinda like dating.

It depends what you want to learn. The whole of "IM" is far too big for one book/product to be able to cover it all. If it's "affiliate marketing", this is excellent: Affiliate marketing training for beginners (and its author is a member of this forum, and is very much "The Real Thing", too - she teaches this stuff for a living, quite apart from having produced the product as well).

I think No one will be able to point you to any course or Ebook at this stage unless one knows about your interests.

I would suggest you to be spending sometime on this forum.
Read what others are talking about.
Find your interested niche / niches.

once you know what you want to do, only then go for course / courses.
If you dont know what you exactly you want to do, then dont waste your hard earned money on any courses.

My advice again, spend time on this forum, read others posts, make your mind and plan yourself.

That will be the easiest 1 probably article marketing

My advice again, spend time on this forum, read others posts, make your mind and plan.
I have been doing that and think that article marketing will be a less difficult, and i did learn a lot from alexa.
the problem is just that i su*k at webdesign and i guess it indispensable when it comes to IM

Budget a set amount for spending on WSOs like put aside 50¢ or $1 a day and it there's not enough set aside, hold off until there is enough, there will be a better shiny new object before long.

p.s. I don't claim to be an expert, but I've been going round and round the block for a while.

For article marketing you might want to check out Turn Words Into Traffic and Paul Myers has a book pertaining to article/syndicated marketing (they mentioned in one of these threads), though, I can't remember the name of it.

By the way, You dont need design skills.

You should focus on understanding the basics before you jump into Internet marketing.

I suggest picking up a few books on selling. Everything comes down to knowing how to sell. Either yourself or your products. All these "systems" and "programs" that teach you how to make money with sites like fiverr or youtube. They are temporary. Selling will always be around and it's the most important skill you could ever learn in business.

Start with the basics and build a strong business foundation for yourself and then jump into Internet Marketing...

If you have an autoresponder account, the autoresponder company will give you a paid where you can send people to opt-in to your list.

If you go this route, you will not need to have your own website.

I do able to make money with youtube only. Even it is only 1 video.
Go head to check my video in youtube. Just type my ID: superowid.
Then you will find 1 video where I put my affiliate link to a product (software).
That's to prove you can make money online without a website, without to build a list, without sending email to anyone, without hassle... etc.
Just 1 simple video and 1 affiliate link to a good product.
Set it and forget it.

When I get started, I used to promote my affiliate links in social media (without a website on that time). I think you must start from the beginning by knowing which niche should you go into. And by the time that you will be able to build your on site, you can start putting your opt-in form in your website for a specific niche.

I don't know, if it's around anymore or not...You could possibly take a look or participate in the 30-day challenge. It is not an ebook, per-say--but it is a full 30 days of materials, that will build up your skills...

After those 30 days, you can focus on what you like best and go from there...

I will tell you what I do as a newbie 9 years ago so decide what to do:

I start with GDI MLM marketing and I made a lot's of mistakes but good point is I learned a lot from those mistakes.
The question you ask is too much broad and to give you an exact answer is very hard.
Also depend of your present skills and willingness to learn.
There are lot's of money making tutorials, great ones that you can find on the net but if you are already here go to war room or take a look at WSO's, can find great products and in matter of fact, even I'm already 9 years in IM, I buy several and each one makes me some money. Someone more, someone less but it works so go and take a look.
