W+ Pre launch - Gets lost in the affilliate section

Hey Warriors,

Quick question..

When I do a prelaunch thread to collect emails obviously the date on the thread will be 3+ days before I launch.. Then when I got to launch my product gets lost in the affiliates section as it appears t have been launched on the day the thread went live..

I have tried to edit this in the new WSOpro pre launch feature but it didnt work for me..

What am I doing wrong?

Why don't you make a new WSO post when you release the product?

You are not doing anything wrong.

Your listing will show as the date that you launched it whether it's a prelaunch thread or a live sales page. I guess this isn't really an issue for most because they don't rely too much on random affiliates finding their offers. You are much better off to have affiliates on board for you well before launch which means this doesn't really matter a great deal.

I have done a few of these Warrior Plus launches using a prelaunch and they worked just fine. But as mentioned I had all my main affiliates on board before the launch. It's very rare that a super affiliate (these are the affiliates you want) are going to just stumble across your product when it launches. Most of the big affiliates want to plan their promotions a week or two in advance so they can create bonuses, etc. They get information about upcoming launches not by watching the forum to see what launches but by looking at all the JV launch calendars where vendors typically announce their launches weeks before the actual launch.

Even on the off chance an affiliate does find your product just through the forum, what's the issue if they find out about it 3 days before the real launch? It just gives them more time to prepare a better promotion. So I don't really see the issue here?
