question about blogger blogs.

Will I get penalized if I create multiple blogger blogs. Can you even do this. I know it is a silly question but I just want to know. Thank you.

From my understanding you shouldn't have any problem. However, since blogger blogs are owned by Google, I wouldn't take any risks. Why would you take a risk right under Big Gs nose? XD

Shouldn't be a problem unless you sign up hundreds. I think it boils down to Google snooping around your IP address and seeing that all these blogger blogs are coming from a single source.

      All best,
      Bill

That is what blogger is for. You can sign up for a free account and make several blogs under that one account. It;s soooo cool, especially if you are niche marketing.

Hmmm, which brings me to the question... is there a maximum number of blogs that you can create under one account? Currently, I have 2 under one ID.

Maximum number of blogs on one account? You can create as many as possible on one google account. There is no ceiling. As I'm talking to you right now, I 've up to 12 blogs on single account. I know of someone that has more than 20.

I don't think there'll be any problem. I know a lot of people with multiple blogger accounts. But the question is, why do you need lots of account? I just find this absurd. Unless you want to separate business from personal, then it makes perfect sense.

You can create as many as the Google anti-spam 'bot will allow you to create. How many is this? Nobody outside of Google knows for sure. There are programs around that one can use to create 1000+ link spamming blogs and Google tries hard to prevent this kind of program from being effective. Sometime innocent bystander blogs are caught in the 'bot vs. 'bot crossfire so it pays to be a little cautious.

To be on the safe side you should limit the number of blogs per account to 10 or so. This is way under the probable threshold. You can go higher but the more blogs you add, the greater the risk. The IP address only seems to come into play for visual inspections so this doesn't appear to be a concern right now but could be a factor in the future. Also, make sure that your blogs don't link to each other and don't all link to the same external site(s) unless the site being linked is a recognized authority site (Wikipedia, CNN, etc.).

You should be OK unless you go crazy with linking.

Correct, don't use them are "doorway" pages. In other words, don't create fluff blogger sites which link back to your main site...very bad idea.

I have about 20 blogger blogs. Many of them are landing pages for clickbank product reviews.

For these landing pages, i go to:-

Settings ----- Basic -----Add your blog to our listings ------ NO

I cannot recall where i read this, but if your blog is ever unfortunately considered to be spam, but it is not part of Bloggers Blog listings, then simply that individual blog will be deleted and not your complete account.

Now by not have your Blog as part of Bloggers listings, may mean that you miss out on some traffic, but as long as you are buliding backlinks and driving traffic through other methods, you won't miss out too much!

        Cheers

No, you should be able to create a million blogger blogs, but I honestly can't think of a reason you should spend your precious time doing that, rather than something more productive, like building a marketing funnel and business plan.

I agree to an extent. However, for me the free platforms, such as blogger, served as my "apprenticeship" i.e. We all have to start somewhere!

When i started out, i had no money, no knowledge, but lots of enthusiasm! I remember reading a thread here by Jay X. It revolved around purchasing a clickbank product, writing an honest review (on blogger), doing keyword research and then submitting up to 50 relevant articles to EZA all linking back to your blogger blog.

This is how i started in IM, i had some really decent successes and few that just bombed! So this was my "marketing funnel and business plan" as a complete newbie.

Now, my objectives, marketing strategies and business plan have all changed and that is due to the money, knowledge and additional enthusiasm i gained from doing this.

      Respectfully

No problems whatsoever. but why would you want to do it unless you have so many number of entirely different niches?
