My pick: #2, good job. Tells me what I'm getting on both a text and visual level. My feedback: make the background blue not black, and lighten the font some so it contrasts well with the blue. Break up the subtitle into two lines to make it easier to read, especially if you need to minimize the image at any point. |

I like #2 since it is not "cheesy" looking. It looks polished and more unique and professional. #1 is the same old boring, cheesy covers you see all over the internet...something different and unique is always nice.

I like graphic #2...looks more current. #1 looks too outdated. hope this helps...and I agree with the font and cover design comments for #2 |

Just my two cents...the second book looks more authoratative and that was the one I was drawn to immediately. So as a buyer that is were my eye was drawn. Hope that helped.
