Making money online as a non-native speaker of English?

Hi!
First of all, thank you guys so much for this forum!
I've been lurking around for quite some time now, and decided that it was time to register in order to learn more, and hopefully get started on this fascinating journey of making money online.
Now, my biggest fear, or to put it differently, the one thing that has held me back from doing online marketing is the fact that I'm not a native speaker of English. I'm Norwegian, and even though I can speak / read English just fine, I can't compare to you natives when it comes to writing originality, writing style, grammar etc. etc.
It seems to me that making money online involves a lot of writing (blogs, newsletters, advertising sites etc), so I'm just not sure if I'm up for the task.

Do you guys think it's doable for a guy like me to make money online? Or should I look other places for passive income?

    It is 100% possible,

    I am like you, I have learned most of my English skills here on the forum, so just don't give up! I am not earning thousands per month now, but I am progressing now and in month or two I will be over the $100/day mark.

    There are a lot of success stories here on the forum from non-native English speakers,

    EDIT: When it comes to your English skills, make sure to spell check what you have written on your websites, blogs and etc. I personally use MS Word and it does the job perfectly! You can also ask for help here in the forum when you need it.

      If you have the funds, you might want to hire someone who is native english speaking to edit the posts on your blogs.

      Hi Zorlee,

      There are many non-native English speakers that make excellent income online. One that comes to mind is Peter Garety who is from Eastern Europe. He is a very successful internet marketer.

      Just by reading your post here, your English sounds pretty good to me. Many marketers who are native English speakers would not be able to express themselves as well as you did.

      If I were you I would definitely go for it.

    I think your English is just fine. Of course, you can always improve and need to do that so that you can sense the spirit of the language. You can do that by reading a lot in English and using it as often as you can. :-)

    Hey I'm not an native but I actually started from $0 to 5 figure in total(not per day or month).

    It takes few years to build up your knowledge and your business, whatever it is.

    Confidence are what most important thru-out any of your journey. Goodluck mate!

    Who says you have to learn English at all to make money online?

    The English speaking markets are dominated by experts. You may find it easier and more profitable to stick to your own market, where the English speaking experts haven't reached yet.

    Should not be an issue really, your English is just fine.
    I am in the same situation.
    I have most of my postings edited and proofread by a native speaker. Find your own editor on one of those many micro-tasking websites and you are done.
