MicroSoft Unveils "PubCenter"

"Microsoft on Wednesday opened its PubCenter advertising service up for public beta testing, providing more of an alternative to Google's AdSense and Yahoo Publisher Network technology that places ads on publishers' sites. "

It remains to be seen how successful it will be, but in the meantime, it's at least another alternative way to monetize your websites.


It'll be interesting to watch this play out and see if it has any bearing whatsoever on the behemoth at Google.

    They are still certainly in 'beta'. I've been trying them for a few days and found that ads are only served about half of the time and rarely are they contextually accurate.

      Yeah, I'm sure they will experience some growing pains for a few weeks until they can get the bugs worked out and get a lot of different sites serving ads.
