Email marketing is more alive than before?(2006-2010)

I mean there is more competition.... but also the ppc and solo ads price is lower then before and there is more niches... so in average email marketing more alive then before or less?

    Are you familiar with email marketing? Prices aren't lower than before, and competition doesn't have anything to do with email marketing. It as to do with your business, USP, and whether or not you can grab a market share within your niche. Also, every company (online and offline) needs to utilize email marketing nowadays if they want to stay in business.
