Possible to make money of videos from Liveleak, vimeo, etc and putting them on your youtube channel?

Hello folks,

I ask this out of pure curiosity, can you rip a video off say "liveleak.com" and post it on your youtube channel?

Then, advertise the newly added youtube video on Reddit and any other social media in hopes for it blow up and go viral?

Why else would there be countless re-uploads of charlie bit my finger?

I'm not talking about re-uploading copy-righted material like music videos or movie trailers.. but videos from cell phones that were uploaed by some random guy

Quickly be the first one to monetize the video on youtube, add a few optimized keywords in tags and sit back and watch the views/$$ come in

Am I getting this right? I already have an adsense account which is fully registered.. actually been sitting on it for about a year when I had a couple websites.

I've already done this with one video.. posted it on Reddit.. got 5,000 views in one night but didn't make any money.. Wasn't even nearly popular on reddit, but just imagine you get one of those golden vids with 2000 upvotes on reddit.. then you could really see some views
