Hi,

I'm all set to advertise in the Warriors for hire section. I have one question.

How are the payments made? What is the procedure if I have a Paypal account?

    How are the payments made to the forum for purchase of the thread? Or are you asking how to take payments from your prospective customers?

    If it's how you pay for the thread, you can use PayPal, Authorize.net or 2Checkout, and I think they've added PayZa (AlertPay).

      I'm sorry I should have specified that. I was talking about the payment from a prospective client.

          Yes, but do they give the PayPal receipt number on the thread itself or do they e-mail me. Because the former would put my thread up at the top. Is that allowed?

        It's entirely up to you. The forum isn't involved in that at all: it's simply "selling you advertising space".

        So, in theory you can take payments however you like. However, in reality, not being able to take PayPal payments at all would probably put you at a big disadvantage, because so many people expect to be able to pay that way.

        Actually it doesn't. Threads in there are not "bumped" by people posting in them, as they are in most of the forum.

        Not normally. A more normal arrangement would be for them to get an automated email from you right after they pay, giving some details. It depends a bit on what you're selling.
