What are solo ads and how do I make money with them?

I will go ahead and be the first to say use the search button so others will not have too.

Basically, you spend time collecting an email list for your specific niche (health, gaming, IM, etc). These people on your list are interested in information specific to what they have signed up for. So now let's say you have a list of 500 people that have subscribed to you.

The solo ad would be you sending out a promotional email for another member that has more than likely paid you to do so. The person will buy this because they believe it will either help build their list, convert into sales, or both.

Most of the time, the person sending the solo ad usually guarantees a certain amount of clicks to the ad being promoted. No one can really guarantee a certain amount of sign ups or purchases and if they do, be cautious.

You also need to be cautious when choosing to purchase a solo ad even if you are just looking to build your own list. Many people will sell a solo add for $100 and say they guarantee you 200 clicks to your link. They in turn outsource the clicks to a PPC campaign for pennies. In the end, you will get your clicks, but they will not be of value and you will be out $100.

You could spend days, weeks, months learning about solo ads, but this is just a little bit about what they are. Many people I am sure will follow up with more info, or you can get a head start and search for the term in the search box.....

There are tons of information right here and you will just need to do a simple search. Few of the experts in this field are Igor Kheifets, Jayson Benoit, Anthony Tilley and others. Do look out for their post as you will be able to get more information about the solo ads business.

Someone provided you with the 'what'. I'll tell you how I've made money with them.

I only use them to promo my free report. I don't try to "Sell" anything that requires people to pay, via my Solo Ads. I use solo ads you get clicks on my Squeeze page link than once I get the person on my list, that's when the selling/money making starts.
