interested in buying subscribers?

Ok so I have been kicking an idea around for a little while, and am looking for some feedback.

No I don't intend on selling anyone an "email list"

I do however intend on selling subs instead of clicks as a service.

For example,

what if instead of buying solo ads, you just wanted to buy subscribers to your list, similar to getsubscribers.com

Say I have a high converting squeeze page, and have already done the leg work of finding good converting traffic, would anyone be interested in buying subscribers direct to their autoresponder?

So instead of paying 50 cents a click, you would be paying 50 cents a subscriber, for example.

The way it would work is this:

I buy solo ads, ppc traffic, etc and for a fee of maybe 50 cents a subscriber, you can capture the same subscribers as I do, so it's sort of like a Co-op.

I advertise my squeeze page, and every time I generate a subscriber, so would you, except obviously you are not paying per click but purely for an action (subscriber)

this is also known as co-registration and is a very popular way of adding newsletter subs for big companies, I have the ability to offer it at a small level to anyone who's interested.

it's simple, you provide your AR code, and I run the adds and the subs are added to your subscriber list.

This is just a thought,I'm looking for opinions from anyone who's got one.
