How to promote to affiliates

Hello All,

I am about finished with my ebook on fat loss and believe it's totally different to anything else out there. When I have the book complete and I also have a really decent report to package with it to help it sell thanks to Alex Malaves WSO recently. His WSO is for moving on affiliate products and mine would be to move my own product. I will move my product on clickbank and offer decent commissions for sale which should help. I am looking for ways to make contact with affiliates to let them know of my product. Would a warrior ad on here be a good starting point please?
Please excuse questions as I am only 2 weeks into this IM business and slowly finding my way round I am not new to my subject though so hope to offer a real decent product with some back end to it also.

Any help much appreciated. Soon as I have something to offer I will be straight on to return some of the excellent help I have already received.

Cheers,

Colin

Go and look for the best selling Clickbank products in your niche.

Then go and search Google for review websites, etc that are reviewing and promoting that product. Also go and look for Youtube videos that are doing the same. Contact all of those affiliates and let them know about your product.

This should give you a nice start. You want to find those affiliates that are already successfully promoting other similar products as they won't need instruction and will know exactly what to do to promote your product.

Nice tips there Will and thanks for the rapid reply! I think one of my first offerings back to the forum will be how I went about this whole process and all the great ideas picked up along the way. (if it's a success of course) Maybe it will help other newbies like me

Here are a couple more ideas for you.

    1. Look through Youtube for videos in your niche that are getting a nice amount of views but have no links in the video or description. This means they are not trying to monetize the video. So you could approach them and pay a small fee to have them add a link to your product in the description of the video.

    2. Spend some time looking for websites in your niche that are coming up high in search results but are not yet trying to monetize their site. Approach them and let them know about your affiliate opportunity. Provide them with banners and text links they can easily add to their site.

    3. Search Google for the most popular keywords in your niche. Go through the first 4-5 pages of results and look at every website. Take note of those websites that have banner ads on them. Contact those websites and enquire about advertising on those sites. You can't necessarily have your site ranked in the top pages of the search engines but if you can advertise on those sites that are already ranked high, the hard work has been done for you.

This is excellent advice, thanks for all the help

Hopefully get the book finished this week and the website is pretty much done. Gonna use e-junkie for selling I think and have aweber account setup and functioning so almost ready to put these things to the test. Need to sort my back end products and ready to go!
