Any adverse affects of using an exit popup with Youtube traffic?

Hey Warriors!

I was wondering if anyone has experienced any adverse affects on their websites after using an exit popup on Youtube traffic. IE losing their Youtube traffic via manual admin slap.

For example:

1) Person finds your video through Youtube search.

2) Person watches your video on youtube and follows you to your website by clicking your video description link or via the video call to action.

3) Person (now website visitor) lands on your website, but decides to leave, triggering the exit popup.

What I'm worried about is a manual slap from Youtube admins if they see your video description link or video CTA leads to a site with an exit pop up on it.

I know Google search/google PPC hates exit pop, so I'm thinking the same can be said about Youtube.

I'm just a bit gun shy to test it out for myself because this one affiliate site is really close to being in the 6 figure per year range. It's just too much money to risk to "see what happens"... but an exit popup will either make or break it as a 6 figure/year earner - definitely would love that 20-30% conversion boost from the exit pop!
