As mentioned by other members there are affiliate programs that you can get involved in. There are also sites that need content written if you are a good writer or like to write. Alternatively you could sell a product or service online.

Really though you should focus on something you already know how to do or have a passion for. Most of the time when people try to make money through the internet, they think its easier than making money in other ways which is simply not true. It takes hard work, dedication and ingenuity to make an income online and the most successful people do it by starting a business in something they were already good at.

See if you can create a business from any of those ideas.
If you can write articles easily about your subject then go with that idea.

I recommend getting to know more of the warriors here by interacting with them daily especially in the WSO section and learn about new ideas and ventures. Once you feel comfortable with what you have been taught and are knowledgeable enough to get into a specific niche, than start making some money. It is the easiest and cheapest way to get the knowledge you need to start a powerful business.

I have an affiliate program so affiliates can promote my sites. I also do a lot of joint ventures. but if you can start out by being an affiliate, you will learn the promotion process and then you can branch out into other areas.

There are too many ways to make money online. The simpliest way is to offer your services to fiverr, odesk or freelancer.

You can also start to build a blog, add content, build a list and sell affiliate products.

You have have some understanding about the traffic, I would recommend you to try CPA.

Easy way to start making money is create blog in good niche with CPA offers and adsense ads. Then drive good amount of traffic using Pinterest and other social / sharing sites. You can submit articles to Scribd, Press Releases - Prlog, Bookmarking sites like Clipboard.com. Good on-page SEO is a must, too!

Building a business takes time and effort. Since you already have a normal job which is great! I assume you will have very little time to spare. What you can do is find product to promote from Clickbank.com, do little keyword research using Google keyword tool then write an article with affiliate link and distribute your article all over the internet. Keep doing it everyday and you will have lots of articles on the internet with your affiliate links which will help you earn $.

If you have time, you may invest some money and create a website in a niche market and collect email address in return for a free eBook then market to your subscribers with affiliate offers using autoresponder software.

If you are new to online marketing, I recommend starting with affiliate marketing.

However I must state this...Many people think an online or work from home business, is easy and not a lot of work. This is not true. Any business regardless of what it is will take a lot of work on your part. Having a business for yourself takes hard work, dedication, persistence, endless amounts patience, the ability to adjust to change, and the understanding that you will regularly continue to educate yourself and evolve as time and technology changes. I know that sounds like a lot, and quite honestly it is, but you must be honest with yourself. Only you know if you are truly willing to do those things. So be honest with yourself when deciding if online marketing is for you.

I started it as well with my full time job so you must be dedicated and requires commitment and lot of work on TOP of your job... not easy to do but I did it and I am sure you can if you really want it

I agree with RKeele above, As I experienced this, best thing to do is to learn the basis of online marketing with a good course from someone who is a leader in the industry. Dont be fooled by those ads that promise you so much, if you are new, it will take you time and a lot of work...
You need a step by step approach and once you know the basic core principles you will be able to determine what exactly you need to do to take your business to the next step.

Start with being an Amazon affiliate. Spend an hour a day on your site which isn't that diificult regardless of your personal life (spouse, kids, etc). Just cut out TV. Stay on Warrior Forum and learn how to filter the good from the BS. Stay consistent and you'll make some money. Once you make your first sale you will be so motivated that all you will do is eat, sleep and drink Internet Marketing. Forgot to mention...don't spend any money. You can get domains through Godaddy at around $2.00 if you do some research or go to retailmenotdotcom on some days. If you are going to spend any money in the beginning then pay for a mentor. Even if its a few hundred dollars it will save you a lot of time and hassle.

You should start with something brain dead simple... like selling on ebay. I'm sure you have some old, valuable stuff in your house. Get some sales experience online and Paypal orders by selling them on ebay. You can eventually turn this into a long term business. Hope you don't mind driving to the post office everyday to ship off products. It's easy though. I used to be an ebay powerseller and top rated seller.

Start your own website, and make it an authority figure.

Do not pay for any ebooks on how to market or anything, they'll just suck your money.

Read on here and other forums, there are a lot of good places. Take what you learn and put it all together, the biggest thing is take action, learn as you go.

Start investing some money into PPC traffic. I have seen huge success with paid traffic. You want to sign up to a few affiliate networks to find some great offers, and do extensive keyword research to find keywords with low CPC and high traffic. Once you have a list of related keywords you can build your campaigns with adwords, bing, 7search, POF etc.

Here's a simple 3 step formula to make money online.

1.Build a list using squeeze pages and give away something for free
2. Offer value in your emails and teach them something
3. Then you can promote QUALITY affiliate products

Rinse and repeat and do SOLO ads, ad swaps to increase your subscribers

There are so many possibilities...
Here are those that work for me at the moment, I'm most certainly not getting rich with them, but adding a small opportunity plus a small opportunity plus... It ends up making something:
* Kindle publishing. If you can write about a subject people are interested in, it's rather easy.
* Network marketing, to some extent - I'm certainly not anything like those "big hitters" who say they make thousands per week but I'm making a little money there and it's residual, that's the good thing.
* And lately I've been selling my own products on eBay. It comes in complement of my Kindle books, but there it has to be in physical form (on CD).

Well anyway, that's what works for me at the moment.
