Why Some MAC Users Won't Buy Your Products
MAC stands for Media Access Control. A MAC is not a type of computer.
Mac is short for Macintosh, which is a type of computer.
Some people don't know the difference between MAC and a Mac. Others do.
So, when you say that your product will work for a PC or a MAC, what you're saying is that you really don't have a clue about Macintosh computers. You've lost credibility at that point. And the sale.
Mind you, even some Mac users don't know the difference between MAC and a Mac.
But, keep this in mind... Saying your product works with a "PC or Mac" is not likely to cost you a sale. Saying your product works with a "PC or MAC" just might.
Some may think that's nit-picky, but it really comes down to a matter of credibility. And, any perceived loss of credibility can cost you a sale.
And, yes, I intentionally used "MAC" in the title to draw the attention of those who use that acronym.
