Why smart IM'ers will never die....

Because they understand what I do even though I haven't reach it's full potential. IM is about a life style that is a business which includes certain freedoms. You can progress or stall based on your ability and not what someone else tells you, you can or cannot do.

You can excel simply becasue you are reading this post, becasue you know how to look for and find the information you need to make you a success.

You have an advantage over almost everyone you know...and almost certainly EVERYONE you will market to.

There are certain advantages we have as IM'ers that didn't exists a decade and a half ago.

And screw SEO....ok....well screw there rigged rankings anyway....

To me there is something to be said about creating a relationship with customers and building page views from more hands on methods....
just saying.

So the smart IM'rs will continue to do what they have always done, which is adapt, and the rest will fail becasue they will stop trying!!!!!

If you don't want to do SEO, you are limiting your options.
Oh well, more for me then.

Sounds like a one-liner to me. I'll have a go:

    Smart IMers never die ...

... but their virtual assistants do

    ... they just unsubscribe

... they have their IP addresses banned

    I need more coffee!

Smart IMers won't die until the death angel got them [death angel can be Google Updates in this case]

    Hello ClausenIt,

I think smart IMers won't die because, like survivors in the offline world, they have the ability to adapt to their surroundings. They take what is given to them, analyze the situation, and form a plan on how to proceed and succeed.

That's essentially what you have to do in life, too. There is no guidebook that tells you exactly what to do, and even if there were, you'd still have to adapt that guidebook to your particular situation.

The same is true in online marketing- you can get guidance and the "basics" from a "guidebook," but you still have to adapt it to your situation in order to succeed to your fullest potential. Just as in real life.

    Therefore,

IM = Life (both in terms of those who want to make IM a career, and in the same skills needed to succeed on making IM a profitable and successful career).

    Take care,
