Here is an interesting study about how to increase newsletter signups:

In addition to decluttering your page, if you look at the examples in the study they suggest moving away from the typical WordPress look to a format emphasizing one big point, with bigger graphics, and bigger call to action to signup for your newsletter.

    It always comes down to testing to see what works best, interesting little addition though, definitely worth the test.

      I prefer decluttered site. I want people to see clearly what they are looking for. As well I want them to be able to navigate through my site easily. I believe that it reduces bounce rate. My bounce rate is only 0.5%.
