Help with Searching for Expiring Domains

Does anyone have any advice on searching for expiring domains? I'm looking for domains that have entered the "expiration period" but have not yet reached the "redemption period."

Basically I'm looking for abandoned sites that haven't yet been dropped and relegated to sites like Snap Names.

Can you use Scrapebox or Xenu Link Sleuth to find these domain? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Can you recommend any paid services, programs, etc.?

    Honestly when looking for domains that have literally dropped off registration, meaning that they are ready to go for a new registration period, I find myself using this website, Register Deleted .com Domains.

    Ive had good luck with them.
