Wordpress membership site examples please?

Can anybody please point me in the direction of some paid membership sites using Wordpress?

I set up my Marketing Confidential site on
Wordpress plus the Memberwing plugin.

Since then I've found what I think is a
better plugin and I'm currently testing it
on another blog.

However I am not sure how long your post will remain because there seems to be an over-enthusiastic moderator who even removed my apology for making a social faux pas here on the Warriors. I didn't realise that links within posts were not allowed otherwise I would not have made the post (blush).

there's nothing wrong with posting links within
the context of an answer to a question or a
request.

However, responses that simply say "See my
sig" are not permitted.

Regarding your site which is a great example is the other plug in you are experementing with iwish?

Yes, that's correct.

"look at my sig" is not seen as a substantive
answer and is a 'trick' often used by forum
spammers.

Brandford Magazine script? I'm not familiar with that theme...so no it's not that theme. I actually don't know which theme it is. A wordpress guy done the theme job for me.

Your designer has done a nice job. This is the branford Magazine script:

Check out One Theme. I'm thinking of using one-theme on one of my next projects.
Its the best dang theme I've seen for membership sites in a long time, plus the theme comes with it's very own solo control panel plugged into wordpress. Pretty awesome.

Gary, I sent you a PM for another example of my membership site running with Wordpress.

The cool thing about mine is that I only use Wordpress for the back end 'members only' area and the front end of the site still runs with static HTML pages.

There's a great free plug-in for this called "EasyPayPal", by Shannon Whitley, which is too good to call "basic" though it doesn't quite qualify as a contender to some of the above mentioned. It also puts a new twist on some of the others by allowing different ways of charging members/subscribers for content.

I have used it, and been very happy with it, but the support is as you might expect with a free plug-in - Shannon does respond but it's not his top priority (though other users also contribute help when they can).

Quentin, you site is nice and neat (neat as in tidy and smart). Did you have to do much to theme or was it custom built. Whatever theme you are using, it looks very good.
