Hi all, I haven't really seen much on avoiding scams on the new warrior forum, so I thought I would post the following methods which have help me in the past to spot the scams an hold on to my wallet. Am sure most warriors know how to spot a scam from a mile off, so this is for any newbies who are not sure. 1. When checking out a product, make sure there is contact info. 2. This doesn't usually apply to sales pages, however if you intend to order an online service make sure there is an address or phone number on there website. 3. If the product website is full of spelling mistake avoid it full stop. The odd spelling mistake here and there doesn't really count as anyone can make the odd mistake. 4. Beware of fake or hyped up reviews which only aim is to get you to buy the product because the reviewer will receive commission 5. Try The email customer support apart from asking a few questions about the product, try looking at the quality and depth of the response as this can also tell you alot about a company or product. 6. Do some research via search engines about the product and company you are interested in. More often than not you can find some real reviews which can give good insight into what your about to purchase. Remember there will always be the odd bad review or unhappy customer but if it is a good service, the good reviews will vastly outnumber the bad. 7. Make sure there is a refund policy, if there isn't you can usually go to the merchant payment provider. Find your original receipt, it should have a support email address. Simply mention your receipt code and state you want a refund. 8. Most online services and products have terms/conditions and privacy policy, if they don't you need to ask yourself why they don't. If any warriors have any other methods to add feel free, more the better. Regards, paul |

Ok, if the product is an IM product, you are better off asking for help here in the main section of the Warrio Forum.
