Blogger Hosting...Is that ok??

Hi friends,

I have one of my website registered with godaddy. And i have it hosted through Blogger free hosting.

Recently, i got my adsense account disabled which is totally not my mistake at all. Yesterday, i found some hundreds of clicks for less views and i even reported to google about that. But i got my adsense account disabled.

Now i am afraid to have my website hosted in Blogger, which is one of the google product. They have all the rights to ban or remove my blog.

I need your suggestion. Is it good for SERP if i move with Blogger hosting or shall i buy hosting too from Godaddy?

Thanks in advance

I think you should have registered for your domain and hosting long ago. Google does frown on click fraud. Better to be safe than sorry so I recommend that you transfer your website right away. However when it comes to hosting hostgator is way better than Godaddy, they have better customer support compared to the latter and flexible terms too.

    Good luck!

Never put your domain and hosting in the same place! I would suggest you use a service like hostgator or the likes.

All reasons here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/741906-why-not-have-hosting-domain-same-provider.html (Especialy Alexa's post)

Thank you for all the replies. I am currently looking at hostgator.

This question might be silly, but i am new. My website is totally a blog. Can i built through their sitebuilder? And can i move the whole template and configurations into hostgator?

      Exactly so.

No ... but it doesn't matter anyway, because Blogger isn't a safe place to be.

      I really wouldn't.

Partly because (as Lee explains above) it's not a good idea to register and to host in the same place, and partly because I think Go Daddy is actually one of the worst hosts, as well.

A much better idea, I think.

I suggest you use wordpress for your blog, Hostgator makes it really simple and can install wordpress in one click from their Cpanel interface. Any questions just ask or PM me.

Be aware, though, that that's the least secure way to install WordPress, and if not compensated for one way or another can leave your site somewhat open to being hacked (either randomly or even deliberately). As so many Warriors have discovered (some of them to their great cost and/or major inconvenience!).

I have to agree. It's not that difficult to do an install from scratch. See: Installing WordPress « WordPress Codex You will learn a few things and in the end be better for it. As far as transferring all your posts/theme here's a post on how to do it (it's from 2012 so not sure if it's still relevant): How to Switch from Blogger to WordPress Without Losing Google PageRank or Search Traffic

As Alexa and others have mentioned, do not depend on Blogger blogs, Squidoo, etc.

They can be taken away (deleted) at any time, as I found out the hard way.

Buy your domains from Namecheap, and your hosting from Hostgator or Hawkhost.
