Setting up this simple funnel... IT'S A NIGHTMARE! (even with DAP)

Hey Warriors,

It's the first time I'm setting up a product of my own.
F/E product will be an eBook.
Upsell: Membership site with recurring monthly fee.

I have bought DAP for creating the funnel. I'm stuck because I want to:

1. Have a PayPal DAP Buy Button ( I understood how to get it, but now how to redirect to the upsell page), that after user buy eBook, redirect them to the Upsell page
2. From the Upsell page, the user can choose to pay for the membership or pass the offer and get their download.

I didn't entirely understand the Logged In Url thing, so this is the ideal process I thought of, but I don't know if it's possible.

1. User start from buying eBook, it gets redirected to the Logged In Url that I set up as the Upsell page. Question here is: Is that doable?

2. From there they can choose to buy to the Upsell and upgrade from "eBook Member" to "Upsell Members", so they get access to both protected content (i.e eBook download link and Video 1)

OR

3. Say "No Thanks" and get to the protected eBook page and post only.

Questions I have here.
It is that doable?
How can I set up DAP so it will redirect to Upsell page correctly, instead of logging the user to the member area?

I was also thinking of using Upsell Tree, always by Digital Access Pass, but it doesn't work for the combination One Fee Product and THEN Membership Product as an Upsell.

if you used or use DAP, help me out.

    I use DAP and upsells but I use a delivery platform. You are much better off using a platform like JVZoo to take care of the payment and delivery part of the process. Someone buys then they are redirected to the upsell url you specify in JVZoo.

      Yes, it's possible to direct DAP (PayPal) to wherever you want.

      I was thinking of associating the eBook with eJunkie, that leads to a Thank you Page that it's basically the Upsell page, with the download link at the bottom associated with "No Thanks ,etc"

      Maybe it's the best solution.

    Again, I would advise using a platform like JVZoo. Not only for the upsell side of things but also because it then allows affiliates to promote your product.

      I wouldn't use JVZOO. I would try to keep it all in the family. JVZoo, thinks your customer is also their customer. ONce your customer is in their database, they will sending offers of the day to them. SUpposedly you can turn it off, when you create products, but I have yet to hear exactly how from a long standing ticket with them.

      Use this like the guy said above , and add parameters to it to delineate more logic. I can help you if you need it, I am a programmer.
