Clickbank or 2checkout ?

Hey guys, I'm going to sell a subscription based product, not related to IM or gimmicks and it's not a ebook, and I'm trying to figure out which one to choose between Clickbank and 2checkout ....

Since I'm Canadian, 2checkout rates are 5.5% + 0.45$ per sale and Clickbank are 7.5% + 1$ per sale.. not a huge difference..

Aside from that, what are the major difference?

How the affiliate programs compare?

I see that both force you to have a 60 day refund policy...

Any important differences between the two? Or is there another payment processor that is better than those 2 at this time?

Thanks
#2checkout #clickbank

I use clickbank and I am satisfied on it, so never tried anything else.

All clickbank has over 2checkout is the affiliate program in my opinion.

    Hi FlyingAny,

I sold a non IM product on Clickbank for 2 years. However when I created a new product with a higher price I used an independent gateway service.

The biggest difference in my experience (and the reason why Clickbank's fees are much higher) is the massive amount of affiliates that use the platform. If you check 2checkout's traffic numbers vs clickbank, cb has about 10 times more traffic in general.

I got a lot of great affiliates who made sales through Clickbank. I'd register as an affiliate for 2checkout and see what their marketplace is like.

Hey Seth, yeah I did register as an affiliate for 2checkout and frankly, I'm not impressed... Not as many products to promote as I thought, especially quality ones and LOTS of gimmicks...

Been on both with the same product.
Frankly there is nothing to compare , it's like comparing the titanic
        to a Kanu.
The traffic on 2checkout and number of active affiliates is so trivial
compared to clickbank that any comparison would be funny at best.

Any more opinions? 2checkout must have some pluses?

Does 2checkout offers a protected member area solution for your site or do you need to find your own solution?
