is there any way to get a straight answer from Paypal ?

we are trying to pay some contractors who are doing work for us and have only Paypal

no problem for the past year, then we relocated and changed address on our own Paypal account

now, we can not get these contractors paid and every time we try we get the paypal alert notice that we must update card

OK, so we did that 3 times and now have both addresses listed for the same card - but neither one will work to pay our contractors

we go to support and get in the run-a-round loop of the paypal site with no human contact points and no answers that work

so, the question is, is there any way to contact a live person at paypal and get a straight answer or do we just run-a-round in their loop for the rest of our lives ???

they do not list any email contact address that we can find and their telephone support would be prohibitive cost from Costa Rica

This is their Phone Number: 888-221-1161

They've got just about the best live customer service I've ever experienced.

That's you best option. Or you subscribe to unlicall to US in skype which I think is only less than 10$ for a month.

If you want support from paypal I suggest you call them directly instead of emailing them or whatsoever since mostly it takes them a few days to reply.

I'm assuming that you don't have calling cards in Costa Rica because we have them here in Canada. Five bucks and you can talk for 2 hours.

When you open Paypal, at the very bottom its says "Contact" When you click on that and open it up, its says "email us."

They are like every major business...yes it would be nice if they had live chat but they do answer the phone and they do reply to emails. I have done both with them.

    Good luck.

Try to avoid paypal as much as you can, there are many decent suppliers of merchant accounts online.

as I said above Anne, our contractors (who are in the Philippines) have only paypal, so PhilippinePay or Xoom or any of the others would require them to start over and make new accounts - right ?
