What has been your experience with promoting one major flagship product vs. promoting a new product each week or even each day via email marketing.

I know theres a lot of variables but im speaking generally, just to get an idea.

(I hope that makes sense.)
thanks in advance.

If you have a good list, promote multiple products, you should expect a lot of spam reports and unsubscribes though.

      I recommend promoting multiple products.

If someone is interested in XYZ niche, just because you have 1 great product about it doesn't mean that everyone is going to be interested in it.

Different strokes for different folks, so provide more options for them.

It really depends on your price point(s), back-end strategy, monetization model, etc.

However, in general, I don't jump into a niche that doesn't have at least 10 to 20 different products that I can promote (include services in that list too). The more quality products and services I can promote, the better.

Combine that with your own lead product (or line of products) and you can pack one hellava punch!

This. You should always try to enter a niche which has multiple products you can promote. This way you are not limiting the amount of money that you can make.

Of course it is advised to create your own product but after that you still want to have other products that you can promote.

Hard to say since you're speaking in general terms. If you're just starting out, I recommend that you stick to 1 site, 1 niche, and no more than 3 products ranging from low-high ticket items. Figure out your sales funnel and plan of attack before you go to the press with it.

I go with the above ^ as well on this one. Stick to one site, one niche, one set of products first before promoting many.

In general, of course it's best to promote multiple products because you will have a larger audience that way. But if you've just started out then test the waters first. You may have to do a lot of testing before being successful with just one product niche. Better if you just continue with another when you're starting to make sales with the first niche that you chose.

There really not a magic number.

It really depends on the value your are offering to your subscribers.

Remember, there are real people reading your emails and as long as you give them what they want (freebie/paid product) they will love you.

Try to promote only products that have a low refund rate.

    Cheers,

    Gary

I think it also depends on the list you have. How much value you are giving to your list and how they look at the emails.
It does not matter how many products you are marketing at the same time. I think the most important thing is how your list sees your product. Good email marketers make killing with the single product too.

As many products as you can.

Make sure you provide value in your promotion before you sell.

I think you're best off building credibility by promoting one product you really believe in. When you're new you have no credibility so they need to trust you over time.
