Hiring an affiliate manager or SEO?
I am having a little bit of pickle. I am having a site on growing your own food with 12 months support in addition to learning material. The site has between 1-3% conversion depending on keywords.
The other day I put up a request for quotes on SEO work, and I ended up in an interesting exchange with an account manager from Zeno SEO. They have now stopped offering ranking per keyword because the latest Google changes makes it "too unpredictable to fulfill".
This again made me look at all the applications and wonder, well how can I then possibly calculate a return on investment on any SEO investment? And secondly when times are difficult to predict is it better to invest in an affiliate manager?
I have no particular opinion on this and would welcome all your different perspectives.
