Question about selling a website with a bought template

What are the rules for selling a website on flippa, When it comes to templates/themes.

For example can you sell a website with a theme that you purchased from somewhere popular like templatic, woo themes, theme forest etc etc ?

I tried googling it but couldn't think of the right wording to get the proper feedback.

Any help is appreciated.

    It all depends on what the theme creator allows you to do - every vendor has their own rules. Some pass on full developer rights, which allows you to sell sites with the theme. Most themes fall under the GPL License (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html) but may have various components that are not GPL, like graphics, css files, and other. You will need to check with the seller to get licensing info.
