Don't give up!

I Got into IM back in 2009 after attending a conference in london with tom hua,joel comm and armand morin among others.When i came home i was consumed in finding the next big thing to help me break into the inner circle of the gurus making big bucks.I must have subscribed to every list going checking my emails in my lunch hour opening them fast after reading the subject lines hoping that it contained the secret,that finally i would have the answer to this make money online idea.

Part of the problem for me at the time was that a lot of methods actually took time.That in fact there was no push button software to take one from 0 to thousands of dollars overnight.I was chasing my tail like a mad dog,suffering from information overload trying to learn seo,article marketing,traffic tactics and so on and so on.I figured out that getting a mentor was the answer,someone that had made money online and could show me step by step how to do it.Well how wrong i was as i picked someone that took off into the night barely a month after paying him a large figure i could barely afford on my low work wage.

That was before an interesting coaching call from him telling me how internet marketing is supposed to be a vicious circle that's the way it is designed to make money.He even told that even after finishing all coaching with him that i would still not find out some of his secrets and he would be keeping some methods for himself.He went on to tell me that we would be making products together by ripping off wso's.Not exactly what i had in mind when i paid for a mentor.

As you can imagine after being ripped off like that i was pretty disconsolate with the IM niche.I gave up and cancelled evreything from hosting to aweber and even my internet.Thats how sick i felt with internet marketing.Of course after a while i missed being online and got back in the saddle so to speak.

But this time i did not join every tom dick and harrys list looking for the next big thing.Instead i planned for the long term and gradually built up some sites that i managed to rank and make a gradual income with adsense.Any money that i made i reinvested in other projects.And that's how i first made money online,finding a keyword rich domain,building a site using wordpress,add decent original content with images and monetize with adsense.
