Sometimes, IM success/failure is psychological....

Some people think that because the product is created by one of the top marketers, the product is really good and can make them rich. 100% belief - but 50% or lower work means failure.... Not all products created by top IMers are for everyone.

I recently purchased a very simple WSO from an unknown member. I trusted the product and not the creator and the result was different. I say one of the best products I ever purchased so far (I am someone who seldom buy WSO).

Success can be a psychological too. Even if the product is subpar, if someone put his effort 100% on it because he believes that the product can make him money, then the result can be favorable.

One of the biggest failure in IM business is believing on product creators and not the product itself.....

The biggest failure in IM is not taking action, period.

A product is only as good as the people who use it.

Taking action needs motivation and that's where the name/reputation of the product creator takes place....

That isn't necessarily true. The next big internet thing or plan isn't going to come from someone that's already made it big. It's going to come from that unknown guy that put in his blood, sweat, and tears into making his product a success. You're not supposed to fall for hype in an individual, but the value of the product.

We sometimes tend to have prejudices even related to IM. The truth is, you never know if a product is good unless you try it, right? And also newbies can be great, but they need a chance to prove it.

Definitely agree with this, even as we speak I am in the process of launching a new site in which I need to some video trainings ... but I try so hard to think ahead and sometimes just end up freaking myself out and it never gets done.

Positive thinking and having positive feedback helps keep me encouraged

You only fail when you quit. But I agree that if you put in your all and believe you'll make money then you most likely will.

Absolutely it can be psychological. I have to constantly adjust my mindset. One day I think I can keep doing this and be successful, then the next day I'm thinking Am I Crazy! But then I adjust again.

I have thought that myself that because it is a top marketer, the product HAS to be good - right? Not always. And it depends on who they are targeting. It may not be toward you. But a product does have to provide value for the audience you are targeting.

Sometimes its easy to be discouraged by all the competition thats out there. Too many failures can dampen one's motivation in achieving success. Moreover, I think one has to be truly confident in the product itself to overcome all the obstacles that come your way.

You create your own success or failures - coaching .. products ... etc. are merely catalysts that help you get there ... Either by providing information or tools .. and / or motivation ..

At the end of the day its on how you apply the information - and see the bigger picture too ...

Excellent post. Sometimes if a person simple takes action regardless, they will find success merely through trial and error alone.

Success really comes down to taking "massive action" and never giving up.

Success encompasses all aspects: physical, psychological, spiritual (whatever this means to you).

I do agree that motivation is a huge part. But, you can be as motivated as you want, if you're not taking action to move yourself and your business in the right direction, you're simply spinning your wheels.

I agree with this mindset. A product can be excellent, but not properly evaluated by the public for various reasons.

On the other hand, perhaps those who are hoping to find brilliant solutions in a WSO after spending only $9 are expecting too much from an ebook.

Your have to understand what you can use from what you’ve learned.

I would have to change your headline to say that:

Most of the time failure in IM (or anything) is psychological!

Sometimes? I think success is ALL psychological. Without the right frame of mind you will never be a success no matter how great the system is or how much work you put in.

  • You got it wrong... Failure does not come from basing your expectations off the product creator's reputation. Failure comes from basing your expectations off a product at all!

No product is the key to your success. Products are tools, but the master craftsman is you, your brains and your business savvy. Expecting a product to earn you success is like expecting a fast car to turn you into a racing driver.
