I had this problem, i researched one niche and went ahead with that. Also, u could partner with a family member who knows something, lets say u have an uncle who is a dietician, u could go into the weight loss niche with their help, etc.

This is kinda what im doing.

Choose something you will like to do. I know it may be hard at first but i'm sure with some creative brainstorming and a little bit of help from someone you can come up with at least 2-3. After you get those go from there and find realvent material

What would you like to learn in your life if you had the necessary time? Learn it and make it your niche. Even if you're still not an expert in that field, your passion for it will (hopefully) help you learn fast and become an expert in a relatively short time.

If you enjoy gardening, have a look at as many gardening sites as you can.

This will give you ideas as to how others are making money from that subject. You may just find that a great idea comes to you as you are looking at these sites.

Another way to profit as an IM is becoming an affilliate for other peoples products - that way you always have something to promote without the stress of having to create your own product.

As your confidence grows, you will probably hit on an idea for your own product.

    Good Luck

From purely a marketing prospective I only go into niches that I have researched and have proven to be hot, something people are looking for and are profitable. In the beginning I went after niches I could relate to and made nothing. I guess it all depends on why you are online and what you are looking to get out of it.

Yes, if you choose "gardening", that is a huge area. You are not really in a position right now to pick the sub niches in that area which might work.

What you really need to do first is to educate yourself a bit about the basic principles of Internet marketing. You need to understand the basics of such things as keyword and niche research and SEO so you can best make decisions on the sub niches you may be able to compete in.

As you learn how Internet marketing really works, you will then have the opposite problem; you'll have TOO many ideas and you'll have to learn to focus on just a few.

Hmm, would suggest reading a magazine or two. Or hey, try searching youtube for a bit. Maybe you get that spark in your head and generate a great niche

    Good luck!
