Free gifts for fellow newbies

I'm sorry this is so lengthy, but it covers my (re)introduction and my helping hand for fellow noobs like myself. I hope this is posted in the right spot. Also- I will be posting this in other popular forums to reach as many newbies as possible. When you see my goal you'll understand why. So if you see it somewhere else, I told ya so!

As I've stated here before, I'm new to the IM field. I have a seasonal job that requires me to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week until the project is complete . It pays well and gives me a decent amount of time to work on an IM/Entrepreneurial career during slow periods. I don't have a detailed plan, but I have a basic idea of what I want to do. I want a business helping people in some way. Whether its saving them money, helping them find things for a cheaper price, bartering- whatever. I also know I don't want to bombard them with costly information and shiny objects. I like to go to bed at night feeling like I actually helped someone do/buy something and/or save money. Implementation may be challenging and timely, but to me, it's worth it.

I've purchased web hosting for 2 years in advance. I currently have one marketing promotion going. After I get decent at the technical aspect of IM, I'll move forward. But I don't have any experience with HTML/building websites, implementing landing/squeeze pages, setting up auto responders and opt-ins, etc. I plan to do some outsourcing and/or recruit a business partner. (Maybe one that is good at the technical end. So, if interested in JV/partnering, let me know.) Money is not the object for me, time is.

This is in no way a promotion. It's me trying to help.

My gift to newbies, like myself:

I've done quite a bit of research in the IM field over the past 6 months during my slow period, so I just wanted to share some of my findings with newcomers who are wanting to start an IM career, but lack the money/resources to do so. This post isn't meant to cast a shadow on any offers, paid products, courses, or coaching/mentoring. It's just another option for those people new to IM that can't afford them, so they can at least get their IM careers rolling for free until they CAN afford to pay.

There are literally tons of free information and tools for newbies to get a better understanding and a great education and/or tools to start their IM careers. From free/cheap internet courses to free/cheap coaching/mentors. The idea of this stems from the people who just don't have the extra money to fork out to help them make their dreams come true. I'm not knocking paid courses and coaching. But you can get great value with freebies, as well.

Speaking of free- Here is a list of (mostly) free online marketing college courses. Most are familiar colleges/universities. Just check out the link: (not an affiliate link)

10 Places to Find Free Marketing Courses Online

If you're interested, I'll share with you some of the information I came across while doing my researching and give you my opinion about the ones I have limited experience in. It includes: coaching/mentoring, free marketing networking sites, IM Courses (some completely free, others have free and paid memberships), good informative daily mailing lists, free tools/information associated with IM like: hosting sites, domain search, autoresponders, niche/keyword finders, SEO tools, list and link builders, squeeze pages, feeders, website/social media analytic and integration tools, search engines (including real-time social media search engines), forums, affiliate/comission sites, social media directories and tools of all kinds, guest blogs, demographs, too much to list. Anyway- you get the point. Just PM me for a request or more info.

Hope this helps. If there is anything you're interested in or would like to talk about and/or share with me, feel free to PM me anytime. Please allow me up to 24 hours to get back to you in case I'm working.

Here's to all newbs focusing on one idea and taking action!

Best wishes,

Daniel

Well it's a good idea that you've gone ahead and tried to provide new people with some basics to internet marketing. But with you having only 8 posts you might want to remove that link from your posts and just provide the content here. Also a lot of the basics can be learned on the warrior forum by just doing a simple search.

I appreciate the comment. There's too much for me to list that way. The link isn't an affiliate link or anything like that. I've asked about posting a link before I made this post. I was told it was OK.

      Best wishes,

      Daniel
