I have a large email database and server. Have used a couple mail programs but not happy with either. Has anyone found a great email marketing program to organize your database and email your list?

Do you have existing lists of subscribers or you want create a new list with form capture? If you have existing list of subscribers then either you should stick with your existing provider or switch to a email system that does not require reconfirmation upon import of lists.

If you are looking for an autoresponder/mailing list manager that you control I can strongly recommend arpReach. It is a one-time payment and is very robust.

You will likely need decent hosting - a shared account somewhere won't be sufficient - and ther I can recommend HitDirector, which is set up to work with arpReach.

I have no connection to either company other than being a very satisfied user of both services.

Aweber seems to be the leader. they are offering your first month for a $1. Its worth risking a $1.

    How big is your list?

I use Mailchimp to manage a list of 1800 subscribers for a weekly SEO tip and think it is great. You get very good stats as to open rates, bounce rates and so on.

I used to be an Aweber fan back in the day, now it's Mailchimp for me.
