Key is simply VALUE, providing value, you will get a big list as people will know that you will help them and not just try to sell them the next SUCCESS WITH ANTHONY PRODUCT and by providing value you will build a relationship, which is the key if you want to make a lot of money and a long term business.

    Just my 2 cents.

The majority of "List Building Gurus" are working within syndicates scratching each others backs adswapping.

There's a few ways to build lists... you can go the provide value and then promote way or you can go the numbers way (alot of people call it churn and burn) which would be to shove as many people through your funnel as possible and blast them with offers every day. Both work, just depends on your preference.

I think one key in building is consistency and doing it for a long time.

I think having both quantity and quality is crucial for list building. It will be best to start off with the intention of helping people and giving values to them. Consistency in taking action to get fresh new leads is also the key too.

I agree with giving VALUE, with a good converting opt-in page. Then building a long term relationship adding more value to your list.

Targeted traffic is an important factor as-well. i have seen cases where some list owners with smaller list have more success then owners with a huge list, they simply have more quality subscribers than quantity.

i will be honest i have only ever done 3 ad swaps in 5 years :-)

building your list s one thing, keeping people engaged and responsive is another thing

best thing to do is just be yourself and don't be fake and you will start to attract followers that like your style of marketing

the fact is you can't please everyone, just focus on building your own tribe that love your stuff and you will have repeat customers for a very long time

I will say that the most important thing is to have a very attractive and compelling opt in page.

After that? Provide value with your list. But regardless of what people say, the most important thing if growing your list is your priority, is to have a very very very compelling squeeze page to get conversion rates high.
